Christ-Centered. Boy-Focused.

Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered, mentoring and discipleship journey for boys that speaks to the heart of boys. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.

Troop NY-1412, located in Malone, N.Y. was established in February of 2018 and is chartered by New Covenant Church. The Troop includes the following age groups:
-
Woodlands Trail (K-5 grade)
-
Navigators (6-8 grade)
-
Adventurers (9-12 grade)

Boys on the Woodlands Trail gain knowledge about outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship, and faith through outings, fun activities, crafts, awards, and skill instruction.

Navigators will gain understanding of their values and beliefs under the guidance of godly male role models through being responsible in outdoor adventures and in their home and school life. They explore areas of interest and earn Trail Badges for advancement. Navigators participate in overnight camping trips, fishing, & hiking adventures.

Adventurers are young men who will mature in wisdom and faith through more difficult challenges and leadership activities with Christian men walking alongside them. In addition to camping, fishing, and hiking, they plan and lead outdoor events and large projects, volunteer and do community service, exercise leadership positions in the Troop and even mentor some of the younger Trailmen.
